My colleagues may like their fast cars – especially Ferraris – but as the words of the song go: “I like trucking!” In a long career I’ve written about and driven everything from vintage trucks to tank transporters and most things in between. And like all good truckers I enjoy a decent pint, especially if it’s real ale and follows a long walk in the beautiful countryside around my Lancashire home. Based in the north west I am indeed APR’s ‘friend in the north’.
