International motor shows provide car makers with a fantastic platform to showcase their wares and the Dubai International Motor was no exception for Lifan Motors. Automotive PR was brought in by Lifan Motors to assist with the company’s first outing on the world stage. Lifan Motors is one of China’s largest independent vehicle manufacturers and is also one of the world’s largest manufacturers of motorcycles and motorcycle engines.
Given Automotive PR’s expertise and global reach, Lifan selected Automotive PR due to its growing presence in the burgeoning Chinese automotive market as well as its experience in dealing with global media at major international events.
Lifan Motors showcased its brand new X60 SUV along with an all-electric EV620 sedan that the firm will be selling in over 50 markets globally. Automotive PR’s responsibilities included writing press releases for each new vehicle as well as compiling press packs for the assembled media.
Furthermore, Automotive PR was able to draw on its global network of contacts in the Emirates to coordinate activities and arrangements for Lifan’s worldwide debut. On the day of the launch, APR’s partners in South America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East issued the news of Lifan’s arrival on the world stage and coverage from Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Ukraine, Dubai, Iran, South Africa, Italy and France.
